It's just simplified assembly programming in an attractive package.★★★★★★★★☆☆. I just bought this game because it seemed like a neat little introductory game to programming and coding.I have little understanding of coding but would like to get into it.At first glance of this game i am currently just finished the introductory puzzles. it is fun and uses alot of logic that gives you a nice little challenge to the brain, and you feel accomplished after finding the solution. Or even more so when you get it first try :) my only complaint so far is that the instructions are a little hard to understand sometimes. sometimes the wording or the way the instructions are written dosent quite flow easily. Im not really sure how to explain this. but with after reading multiple times it helps. Also in the instructions it gets very confusing when you are using so much symbols like '-' and '#' within the examples that you give for the code.As someone who is unfamiliar with programming, i got stuck few times where i entered some symbols in thecode which you had in the examples that were not part of it. I can show you where i mean by this if you ask. but its hard to explain it here. fun game tho i thinkthank you I did not get this game for free :) but maybe in the future you guys can send me your new game to review for you :):) hehe thank you again. ok this is fun. it is challenging and makes you think, but gives you just enough info in the manual and emails to figure it out. For the price compared to some other similartitles costing three times more you cant lose IMO. i know i don't have very much play time but enough to know i'm going to really enjoy this game for quite a while. This is a must buy if you are really interested in some basic simple programming concepts in game format. what a great way to learn! I hope this company makes more games i'll buy them.. This game is heavily influenced by TIS-100 and Human Resource Machine. The player is a new hire at a company being trained to program robots. The language is similar to assembly (as in TIS-100) with the consoles reminiscent of HRM's conveyor belts. The game itself is open source, which pleases me greatly. There are a number of minor issues, many of which are currently being addressed by the developers. I definitely got my money's worth, and I look forward to seeing how the game develops over time.. Great programming puzzle game 5/5 . Don't buy if you are stupid, it might be too difficult for you.. I hate how Syntax works in this game. The commands and syntax need to be visible on screen at all times because otherwise it's just annoying since they are very unintuitive. The same function will have different syntax eg [NUMBER] will mean that memory slot, but if you want add a number to it for example the next [memory] syntax loses the [brackets] and has the same syntax as a normal number. It is honestly terribly annoying and inconsistent. While solving puzzles I spend no time on the logic parts but all time on how to translate it into terrible syntax. Dev should have a look at eg Human Ressource Machine, let players see and interact with syntax at all times. As of right now it's terrible.. If you look past the puerile storyline littered with profanity and drug references, the annoying way it deletes part of your solution whenever you make an error (edit: fixed now), the frustrating way you can't debug your programs without endless stepping, and the bizarrely inconsistent difficulty curve of the levels, you'll find an assembly language emulator masquerading as a game. There are much better programming games out there.. the alleged
tab that the tutorial references so much does not exist. Since t his is not there, you cannot do anything other than read some "emails" telling you to go to the
tab to do your first code. In the screenshost it shows Marvellous OS 2.0, but when the game runs it shows as Marvellous 0.1 so im not sure if this is the wrong version that was deployed, but i requested a steam refund. Unplayable.Pros:It was only $4.99Cons:100% UNPLAYABLE unless you love games where you read one dumb tutorial email demanding you to take actions that do not exist in the game
